Mit Ende des Septembers nähert sich immer mehr der Herbst, bei uns hier rund um Stuttgart hat es heute aber nochmals sommerliche Temperaturen gegeben, die ich ausgenutzt habe um den Sommer mit einem Kleidchen zu verabschieden.
Der Stoff ist grandios, wer schonmal Wildseide in der Hand hatte weiß von was ich spreche und noch viel toller ist, das Kleid ist mal wieder von Oma, ich habe es etwas kürzen lassen. Sie trug es damals zur Taufe meines Papas, hat sie mir heute erzählt. Scheint so als hätte ich wirklich ihre Figur...ach ich liebe Kleidungsstücke mit Geschichte und vorallem die, die meine Oma selbst genäht hat...aprops nähen ich sollte mich auch mal wieder an die Maschine setzten...
With the end of September autumn is coming quickly, around Stuttgart we had pretty good weather today, so I decided to wear a dress to dismiss summer this way.
The fabric is fantastic, the one of you who experienced wild silk knows what I am talking about. And what's even better the dress is made by my grandma, I cut it a little. My grandma was wearing it for my dads christening back then. Seems like I really inherited my grandmas body...oh I really love clothes with history, and even more the ones my grandma made by herself...aprops sewing I really should use my sewing machine again...
